Golden Spas Inc Warranty

SPA STRUCTURE: Golden Spas offers a 3-year limited warranty against loss of water due to manufacturer defects or workmanship.

SHELL SURFACE: Golden Spas offers a 3-year limited warranty against cracking, blistering or delaminating, excluding sun damage.

PLUMBING: Golden Spas offers a 3-year limited warranty against leakage due to manufacturer defect or workmanship.

EQUIPMENT: Golden Spas offers a 3-year limited warranty for the spa equipment pack (pumps, heater, and control system) to be free from defects in material and workmanship.

Golden Spas offers a limited warranty for the following components:

1 year: all stereo components (with the exclusion of speakers and remote controls), Ozone generators, Gate valves, Mist systems, and LED light components.

90 Days: Wear and tear components such as pillows, light bulbs, stereo, speakers, pump seals, remote controls, heater elements, cover lifting systems and jet faces.

90 days: wood skirting (maintenance of staining and sealing is required every 6 months) Product warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship at time of delivery- spa covers, filter cartridges, and light lenses.

1 year: DuraTemp cabinet skirting. (Fading is a natural occurrence and is not a warrantable defect.)

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS, EXCLUSIONS & DISCLAIMERS

Spas installed in commercial applications are excluded from any coverage under the Golden limited warranty. This Golden limited warranty is void and nullified if it is determined that the spa has been subjected to alteration, neglect, misuse, abuse, if any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than a certified spa technician, or if failure is caused by accident, freezing temperatures, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of Golden Spas, it’s dealers or distributors. Neglect, misuse and abuse may include improper installation, operation, or maintenance of the spa, but not limited to the failure to maintain proper water chemistry and chemical balance and the use of abrasives or improper cleaners. The spa owner accepts liability for repair work performed by anyone other than a designated approved Golden Spa representative. Spa must be placed on a flat level foundation with proper drainage (6-8” concrete/cement pad, or appropriately substantial wood decking or EZ-pad ™, installed as per manufacturer’s instructions). This warranty is made with the understanding that the spa is not an essential or medical device as defined under State and Federal Law. Golden Spas shall not be held liable for loss of use of the spa or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages, which may include but these are not limited to removal of permanent or other custom fixtures or the necessity for crane removal. Terms are subject to change without notice at any time.

PERFORMANCE

To obtain service in the event of a defect covered under the limited warranty, notify your dealer as soon as possible and use all reasonable means to protect the spa from further damage. Customer will provide information about service issue, if requested, to support remote service efforts which may precede technician visit. With receipt of proof of purchase and warranty registration card, Golden Spas or a certified Golden Spas approved spa technician will correct the defect subject to the terms and conditions of the limited warranty. There will be no trip charge during the first year of this Golden Spas Limited warranty. After the first year of warranty, there may be a variable trip charge for spas that are 20 miles or more from nearest associated repair technician. Parts are covered per warranty with exchange of the defective part. Failure to return defective part to Golden Spas may result in the customer being charged the cost for that part. While Golden Spas may elect to ship warranty parts at no cost, customer may be responsible for fees to ship any original or replacement parts, except for those which are proven to be defective upon original customer receipt. The replacement part may be provided by the manufacturer or by the service company at our discretion. If Golden Spas determines that on-site repair of the covered defect is not feasible, Golden Spas reserves the right to repair or replace such defective items at its factory location. Cost of removal, transportation, and re-installation is a responsibility of the original purchaser. In the event of replacement, warranty for replacement spa shall be for the value of the balance of the duration of time of the warranty for the original spa purchase. This Golden Spas warranty is not transferable and is valid only to original purchaser named on completed warranty registration card. Warranty is “Parts Only”, outside of the United States, although technical assistance is provided in this case, via e-mail/telephone.
